Paws Across Scotland

Get 2021 off to a paws-itive start by signing up for Friends of the Neuro Ward’s virtual dog walk, Paws Across Scotland.

Paws Across Scotland Paws Across Scotland Paws Across Scotland

Throughout January, we’re aiming to clock up the 255.3 miles from Aberdeen to Orphir in Orkney, where our founder Caroline lives with her four-legged friend Lara.

The route has been picked to take in just some of the areas the patients we represent come from, and goes from Aberdeen to Huntly, Elgin, Inverness and Wick before John O'Groats, where the ferry runs to Orkney.

Whether you have a dog or have resolved to get fit in 2021, we hope you’ll join us for this fundraiser – which, if successful, we hope to make an “in-person” event in the future!

Our suggested donation to support Paws Across Scotland is £10 per individual or £20 per household.

You could also set up a VirginGiving page if you'd like to seek sponsorship from friends.

We’ll be sharing mileage updates and regular pup-dates (the more pictures you send us, the better!) throughout the month-long challenge.

All money raised will go towards supporting patients onwards 204 and 205 at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and the rehab unit at Woodend Hospital.
