What we do

We bring communities, healthcare professionals and government together to spread the word about the impact of neurological injuries and disorders throughout the north of Scotland.

Together we’ll campaign and fundraise for vital equipment and treatments to improve the quality of care received.

We want the best possible care for the patients of neurological injuries and disorders.

We’ll inspire excellent neurological care in the north-east of Scotland, and beyond.

The area we cover

Ward 204 & 205 at ARI and Woodend Rehabilitation Unit | More than 850,000 people

The wards and unit cover Grampian, the Highlands, Orkney, Shetland and parts of the Western Isles. Patients travel large distances to attend the wards at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, where the hub of the neurosurgery department is located & Woodend Hospital. A visiting consultant-led service is delivered every week at Raigmore Hospital in Inverness.

When you consider this the high demands placed on the neuro ward become very clear. We are working to improve the facilities on these wards for everyone in the north of Scotland.
